98k miles on a nissan is not that great considering the cvt transmission goes bad at 75k miles! it known for that issue!

when you say auction broker , do you mean selling cars from auction to people? or just buying and selling within the auction itself?

Often the first shock for a new b hph lot owner/leaser is first time at AUCTION..bhph dealers pay higher prices wholesale out of just plain REALITY..auction is ultra competitive..also we charge high rates & terms..so we can pay more wholesale to get inventory..just reality so get good cars..not always cheap or easy

Also avoid imports to sell bhph..i love Toyota's but most BHPH customers in ky can't afford to fix a toyota..if they fix a starter on Honda or Toyota you might not get 800$ worth of payments before you get another $..potential owners beware ..BHPH & CAR BIZ IN GENERAL..might not be for you..

Remember ..this is FINANCE/RISK..the cars are collateral..these are bad credit customers..i often advise new potential owners it might not be for them..esp if you are leaseing the lot..

Thumbs up ..they bought the property..now you have arrived..just maximise & save every penny..one day you will buy yer dream lot & lease this lot out for good money..i learned from a GENIOUS..if you want me to consult get ahold..you deserve it..when they buy the property they are now a player..i can tune you in to make serious money..

I retired at 48 in 2018,in ten years I saved 5 million in cash & bought several propertys from income in BHPH,in Louisville ky..imo the biggest mistake is to enter this space underfunded or worse..overspending in middle of a good run..collections arnt static..if you don't have enough capital you will be in trouble at the whim of 500 BOUGES!!..

So these mechanics get paid to screw car up?

I am in rutherford county too and excited to see the emissions testing going away. It has been a real pain to try and get engine lights off of a lot of the cheap cars so that local buyers would be able to register them. Davidson county retaining it might still necessitate some, but I think it will help selling that all others are getting rid of it for the sake of our flips. Do you still have a dealer lot going?

I wish they would get rid of emissions here in Davidson County. At $9 per car it's a money grab for the county. Hell, just think of how much air is being polluted by our cars while we are sitting in line for an hour waiting to get tested.

Wow ! I didn’t know you are in North Carolina, I’m in Caldwell County- emissions testing ended here soon time ago , if my memory is correct it ended in 2018

Selling online allows one to start with little overhead which is a great way to start on a limited budget.

This is why use car dealers will never be in business because you hustle innocent people out of the money and you won’t be in business very long I don’t wanna hear excuses

Heat gun and putty knife sounds like a good start. Maybe use an ocilating/multi tool with a scraper bit on it. If budget is a concern, a 4” wide hardened scraper tool and manually scrap. Just watch out for the seams between roof and sail panels and pillars, that could be leaded or bondo from factory. Rust.... use a converter, sand or grind reasonably smooth, and you should be golden. Good luck with the limo, keep us up to date on it. Thanks for content.

That's the old school way . . . I hope it goes like you want it to go . . . About the top, someone mentioned a heat gun and putty knife . . . that's where I would start . . . I really am not sure . . . however you attack it, there's going to be some primer and paint involved I am sure . . . about a use for the limo: I looked into buying a Limo once and considered making it known to the area funeral homes that it was available to rent by the day, etc. Often times they need a second one or need even a driver and limo for an out of town service . . . I don't know about the configuration needs though . . . just a thought.
